One of my favorite things about using AI for vision boards is that it allows us to create highly personal, emotionally connected, and visually powerful images of our Future Self — and more importantly, images that actually trigger belief.
But not all AI image platforms are created equal.
Today I want to break down a side-by-side experiment I ran using three popular AI image generators, creating a very similar Future Self image with each tool. Same prompt, same vibe — and three very different results.
Let’s dive in.
🧠 The Summary:
OpenArt.ai: Easy to jump in. Great for quick starter images, simple headshots, or test runs. If you’re brand new, you can make something nice within minutes.
AI Ignite: Excellent blend of simplicity + sophistication. The lighting and depth are noticeably better. Their facial structure training models deliver very "human-feeling" images without drifting into that over-polished AI look.
Flux LoRA (Fal.ai): The most advanced — and honestly, the most addictive once you learn the system. You get control over skin texture, hair detail, dress flow, lighting angles, natural posing, and scene building. For truly vision board-grade Future Self imagery, this is where I personally live and breathe most of my work.
My Verdict:
There’s no one "perfect" tool.
The best platform depends on:
✅ Where you are in your AI journey
✅ How much you want to customize your images
✅ Whether you're creating for fun, for content, or for deeply personal visualization work
For my AI Vision Board clients and coaches, Flux LoRA inside Fal.ai gives me the flexibility to create hyper-realistic Future Self imagery that allows my clients to emotionally connect with the version of themselves they’re building.
🔎 Why This Matters:
When your brain sees an image of your Future Self that feels real — everything shifts.
Visualization becomes less about "manifesting" and more about triggering the brain’s Reticular Activating System to start filtering reality through that vision.
The more real it feels, the faster you start acting like her.
💡 I’d love to hear from others who are experimenting with AI image platforms:
